Rick Dubes joined DLR Group in May 1991 as a new graduate and was made Principal in 2004. He currently assists with office management responsibilities, including HR, recruiting, financial projections and resource/staffing allocations.
Rick became a registered architect in 1995 and until undertaking his current responsibilities, he worked on projects in all of DLR Group's business sectors: k-12, justice, corporate and higher education/sports. Rick has both his bachelor's and master's of Architecture degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Significant projects in his career include: The Peter Kiewit Institute, Scott Technology Transfer and Incubator Center and Ralston High School in Omaha; the State of Iowa Judicial Branch Building in Des Moines; and the rebuilding of the Norris High School and Elementary School after they were devastated by a tornado during the summer of 2004.
