Dr. Mingsheng Liu, has a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University (1992). His B. S. (1981) and M. S. degrees (1984) are in heating, ventilating and air conditioning engineering from Harbin Institute of Architectural and Civil Engineering in China. He has conducted extensive research in the following areas: building system commissioning and fault detection, control system optimization, heat and mass transfer in building, air infiltration and air infiltration energy consumption, and development of renovated HVAC systems. He has published 20 journal papers, 35 peer reviewed proceeding papers, 2 textbooks and an education booklet.
